रस्म - औ - रह दुनिया की निभाने के लिए आ

(Relation isnt same as before, but still sometime
come, just to fulfill the customs and ways of this world)

किस किस को बताएँगे जुदाई का सबब हम
तू मुझ से खफा है तो ज़माने के लिए आ

( How many people will I explain the cause of break up ?
if you are mad at me, come just for the sake of this world)

कुछ तो मेरे पिन्दार - इ -मुहब्बत का भरम रख
तू भी कभी मुझ को मानाने के लिए आ

( Have some concern for the pride of my love
some day, come just to appease me )

एक उम्र से हूँ लज्ज़त - इ - गिरिया से भी महरूम
ए राहत - इ - जान मुझ को रुलाने के लिए आ

( For a lifetime i have been devoid even of the taste of tears
oh peace-of-mind, come just to make me cry)

अब तक दिल - इ - खुश फहम को तुझ से है उम्मीदें
ये आखरी शम्मा भी भुझाने के लिए आ

( My heart still harbors hopes from you
come, just to put off even this last flame)

माना की मुहब्बत का छुपाना है मुहब्बत
चुपके से कीसी रोज़ जताने के लिए आ

( Agreed, silencing your love is the real form of love
some day, come to silently express your love)

जैसे तुझे आते हैं न आने के बहाने
ऐसे ही कीसी रोज़ न जाने के लिए आ

( The way you find excuses to not come,
some day, come with an excuse to stay forever)
