Is this the Democracy Which Our Honorable Parliamentarians Want To Protect From Likes Of Anna Hazare & Baba Ramdev?

The often quoted definition of democracy is “Democracy is the rule of the people, by the people and for the people.” But when I see current situation in India, I feel that Abraham Lincoln should have clearly defined what he meant by “the people” like who are these “people”, who would be ruling, whom they would be ruling and for whom. Like so many other things, I think majority of Indian politicians have taken advantage of ambiguity in Lincoln’s quote and defined “the people” as their own family, relatives and friends. So the new improvised version of Lincoln’s definition in Indian context has become something like “Democracy is the rule of the family, relatives and friends, by the family, relative and friends, for the family, relative and friends.” I am not joking as when you see Mulayam & his family enjoying the exploits in UP, Gandhis in Center, YSR’s Son Jagan in AP, Yediyurappa and his family in Karnatak, Farukh Abdullah in J&K, Badal’s in Punjab, Karunanidhi in TamilNadu, Lalu in Bihar, Sangma’s in Meghalay, Thackreys, Pawars & Chauhans in Maharashtra, Hoodas & Chautalas in Haryana and you will soon realize that democracy has got a new name and form in India and it’s called “Famocracy”.  Doesn’t is sound like some remote Middle Eastern / African country’s ruling system? The way we are being governed by few corrupt families and their well-wishers, we will soon have worse situation for common masses and life will become more difficult. It’s sad but true reality of Today’s India.

Mulayam talks about being an ardent follower of Ram Manohar Lohia’s socialism but all I can see how busy he is in promoting his own dynasty rule. Lohiaji who remained unmarried, never had any bank balance and opposed the dynastic rule till his death must be agitated in heavens by what all Mulayam is doing in his name. The most wonderful thing of Mualayam was, his daughter in law getting elected unopposed in recent elections for MP in Kannauj parliamentary constituency, which was vacated because her husband and Mulayam’s son became Chief Minister of UP. The Mulayam’s form of democracy should be adopted all over the India so that the general public doesn’t have to face inconvenience of going to the voting booth and all the MPs can get elected on some or other arrangements where no one fights elections against anyone and everyone gets elected unopposed. It will save more money from public exchequer (your and my money- if you are an honest taxpayer), prevent infusion of black money in economy and we won’t have to suffer from endless public debates, exit polls and noise pollution for so many days. I think all parties including Congress, BJP and BSP must have decided that in the interest of common public good they shouldn’t fight elections against Mulayam’s daughter in law and by doing that they have shown a new way of democracy to the whole world. But I wonder how this is different from election of some ruthless dictator in sub-Saharan African country, who gets 99% of votes or from election of Saddam Hussain in Iraq?

There are so many criminal cases of serious charges like murder, rape and corruption against so many of honorable parliamentarians and they say that they want to save democracy from autocratic people like Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev!! Any politician who says things like this must have few qualities like habit of indulging into verbal diarrhea like Digvijay Singh, skin as thick as rhinos, character as weak as ND Tiwari, lying habits as great as Nirmal Baba and Kapil Sibal, corruption habits as good as Spectrum Raja and Sharad Pawar, networking habit as good as Nira Radia, communal as good as Akbaruddin Owaisi, castist as good as Lalu & Maya, Regionalist as good as Karunanidhi, Secularist as good as Mulayam, Barkha Dutt & Arundhati Roy, very good in hiding all sources of black money of their masters like Pranab Mukharjee, enjoy all power without accountability like Gandhi Family and above all still saying you are innocent while the biggest scam happen under your rule like Manmohan Singh. Once any politician achieves this state in India, he will have the “Buddha Moment” and will become enlighten about different way of fooling the general public and making huge money for family, relatives and friends.

These honorable MPs and politicians who haven’t hesitated in eating fodder meant for animals, claim that the biggest threat to the great Indian democracy comes from an unmarried 74 years old former armyman, a former IRS officer, a patriotic unmarried Sanyasi, a decorated former IPS Lady Officer and millions of educated and young middle class Indians like you and me. Perhaps the political class and their cronies in TV & print news media need to understand that the biggest threat to democracy comes when handful of corrupt people start twisting the system to suit their own needs, when the murders, corrupts and criminals go unpunished just because they have money and power while the poor and helpless are denied the justice and forced to pay bribe to get their work done. It’s so easy to understand but our honorable politicians & their cronies have insatiable desire to earn more and more which doesn’t get satisfied by amassment of billions of dollars in Swiss Banks which they can’t even count properly as there are so many zeros involved.

As you have seen the Mulayam form of democracy is not good for common Indian Public, because we will be denied all the chances of growth and opportunities while the likes of Mulayam and his cronies will flourish on our expense. The Mulayam form of democracy is so treacherous that you will be eating your words just after announcing in full public view press conference that Shri Abdul Kalam is his first choice for president of India. After few hours he cut some deal in his favor with Sonia and backtracks from his words and giving complex to likes of Mir Jafars and Jay Chands of Indian History. This Mulayam form of Democracy was actually started by Gandhis and Nehrus and sustained by all other politicians who saw its merit. They jointly deny the common masses the chance to be the participants in India’s story and corner all the butter for themselves and their cronies. That’s why they invent new issues of dividing the society in different ways and keep their rule relevant by following the divide & rule policy of British. Irony is we wanted the freedom from British for the same reasons and still our own people are behaving the same way.

I wonder sometimes that was this the India for which likes of Chandrashekhar Azad, Bose, Bhagat Singh, Sardar Patel and Lala Lajpat Rai fought against the British and gave their life?  I am an eternal optimist and I still believe that all is not lost. We have few shining examples like Narendra Modiji, VajpayeeJi, Naveen Patnaik and Nitish Kumar who are doing real good work and keep the faith of common Indians like me alive in real democracy. If we Indians really want to make the real definition of Lincoln’s democracy true in India we all need to play our part and teach a lesson to all the corrupts by voting against them and rising against injustice. Let’s take pledge to make India the place which the real patriots like Vivekanand dreamed of and make their dream our own reality.

UPA Won Trust Vote Using Corrupt Thugs : Who is Responsible?

The UPA and “Honest” Manmohan Singh won trust vote in parliament. My head wants itself to be buried deep with shame as I see what kind of corrupt thugs are ruling this great nation of ours. I wasn’t feeling like writing for quite some time even though many burning issues caught my attention like Baba Amarnath Land Transfer or hiking the creamy layer limit for OBCs or defeat of CPM in local body polls. I thought what I can do by just writing some piece in blog. Who is going to read that even if I write truth there? But as always it’s the only way I can remove frustrations from inside. I watched with horror and disgust some MPs throwing 3 crore cash inside parliament and telling us all that its bribe money given to them by Amar Singh of SP for just being absent from trust vote.

A sickening disgusting chill ran though my spinal cord and I started wondering whats wrong with us Indians as a society. A society which is producing so many corrupt leaders, A society which doesn’t give any value to merit, a society which just remains a mute spectator of extortion of the powerless by powerful, a society which is just running behind money and not thinking about the ways to get that, a society which reads scriptures, goes to temples, churches, mosques and gurudwaras daily but don’t hesitate in doing heinous crimes for sake of power and money, a society which doeant believe in paying taxes honestly and cry when they see some politicians or officials making tons of money through corrupt means, a society which just believes in getting its work done for railway tickets, passports, driving licenses, water and electricity connections by paying bribes, a society which worships women as gods in various forms but still kill someone’s daughters and sisters for dowry and the unborn girl child, a society which can spend hundreds of rupees on pizzas, multiplex movies but shy away from feeding empty stomach of less fortunate, a society which looks down upon people who earn their honest living by working as laborer, gardener, waiter, vegetable vendor and domestic helps as if they are not human enough to have that self respect, a society which just cares about someone who has money and power but never worries about their means to get that money. We have become a big society of hypocrites where moral values and merit doesn’t count for anything. Where the one who says truth to be told keep quite or made silent by murders or threats.

I know we all know about this but my problem is we all are not doing anything about this. Infact why I am telling you all, I myself is not doing anything about it. Its so disgusting to even think about what type of people are ruling us and being made important by this stupid electronic and print media. The likes of Lalus, Mulayams, Amar Singhs who are nose deep in corruption are being projected as savior of masses. One day one of these will become prime minister and than only god knows whats going to happen to India. These politicians have enough money to protect the government but I am sure these fellows don’t have money to spend on food for empty stomachs, drinking water, electricity, health care and roads for millions of poor of this nation. But I don’t blame these politicians. Its us the common masses are the only people to blame. We have allowed ourselves to be manipulated by these corrupt thugs on basis of caste, community and religion. These corrupt thugs are product of this hypocrite and corrupt society of ours and unless the morality content of common people of India is going to increase, I am sure we are going to be ruled by people which this society deserves.

All these corrupt thugs are not aliens from Mars. They are from among us. Its us who are responsible for this mess around us. Unless we as a society do something about this we are doomed to see many more Amar Singhs, Mulayams and Lalus ruling us. Arise and Awake.. Take destiny of this great nation in your hand.. Don’t think that you are not going to affected by these corrupt politicians. We as a society have become so mentally bankrupt that unless someone is going to kill or harass some of our own family member, we think that we don’t have any problem in our country. Today it may be your neighbor but tomorrow its going to be your turn and at that time please don’t expect anyone to come and help you. You have to deal with that problem like your neighbor whom you left alone in their struggle. Unless we are going to think every Indian as our neighbor we are going to be doomed as a nation.

Satyamev Jayate: Dr VenuGopal I Salute You

Our unhealthy health minister Ambumani Ramdas got a nice judicial treatment by Supreme Court today. I liked this nice line by BJP spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. This line said a lot about the drama which was going on for past one year for autonomy of one of the most respected institutes of India: AIIMS. The main conspirator, actor, director and script writer of this drama was Dr Ambumani Ramdas of PMK party in TamilNadu. Who to his credit has only one thing that he belongs to some so called backward caste and reaping the benefit of that same low caste even after acquiring so much properties and medical colleges in Tamilnadu and I don’t know how long he will remain the backward. Well what else you can expect from a corrupt Indian politician except to bend and change rules for their selfish narrow interests.

When he was inducted in cabinet by poor MMS he asked for health ministry as he is having many medical colleges and lots of relatives in medical field that can get benefit of him being a health minister. Instead of looking into issues of malnutrition, infant mortality rate, universal health care, good and affordable health care for poor in India, he concentrated more on being in headline for stupid reasons like making statement against smoking and drinking of actors on cinema. He is thinking that whole of India is crazy about their film stars like some people in TamilNadu. Who will do anything their film stars do on the screen. I guess majority of the smokers and poor in India don’t start smoking out of their choice and seeing film stars. The poor population starts smoking because they don’t have any other thing to eat and entertain themselves. So smoking gives them a little stress relief at lower cost in form of Beedi. Majority in college starts smoking for fun and then get habitual to it. I have seen this in case of many of my friends and colleagues. Smoking by actors on film may be a inspiration for some people but I have never came across a person who says that he started smoking or drinking because he has seen some actor doing that. Do you guys really think that banning liquor advertisement on TV will anyway stop people from drinking and more importantly should a health minister involve himself in such a thing where he has many more important issues to attend?

I am not glorifying smoking and drinking and I know and very well understand that excessive liquor consumption by a family member leads to devastating results. But the path adopted by health minister is not the proper way to address that. He is just doing it to be in news because he doesn’t have anything other to show. Ramdas attacked Dr Venugopal because he wasn’t “cooperating” with him in granting favors to Ramdas’s relatives. When he saw that he cant dislodge an honest person from doing his job, he adopted the similar path like his corrupt ilk to get the law passed by bunch of thugs to lower the retirement age to 65 for AIIMS director. This is another episode where you can clearly see the weakness of the weakest prime minister of India Dr MMS. Dr MMS is educated enough with foreign degrees to understand the game plans of his ilk. But he, like many other instances, chose to remain silent and became a party in crime.

Dr Venugopal is world respected cardiologist, who performed first heart transplant in India. When many talented people were leaving India for sake of opportunities and better future abroad, few highly talented people like Dr Venugopal chose to stay in India and give their services to motherland. I would like to ask why a Lakshmi Niwas Mittal , a Hargovinda Khurana, a Chandrashekhar Subramaniam has to leave India to create their name? Answer is insult of that talent by bunch of corrupt thug politicians. They have not tried to created a working culture where merit and only merit would have been the criteria for someone’s job but instead they promoted culture of sycophancy which resulted in reward for few family members and disgust for the whole general public. Ramdas would have got away with all his stupidity if he was doing it in 70s or 80s. Today’s India is much different and I guess everyone can feel this except these corrupt thugs. Who doesn’t know any boundary while taking revenge for their stupid ego. These politicians were supposed to be servant of public but in India we have a majority which makes public to serve their interest. That’s why some caste based party like PMK is enjoying so much clout that poor MMS isnt able to do anything.

Although lower judiciary in India is neck deep in corruption but Supreme Court and High Courts of India still have some honest judges left, those who don’t fear anything and give verdicts solely on basis of solid arguments. I must take name of Justice Jagmohan Lal Sinha who showed rare courage and honesty and disqualified all powerful Indira Gandhi from her election from RaiBareli for using corrupt means. It was the courage of a single honest Indian which was responsible for change in long congress rule of India after independence. No body today remembers all those judges who were serving ruling party’s interest but everyone remembers one true honest judge of high court of Allahabad who just did his job properly. Is it too much to ask from civil servants to do their job properly? I guess the word proper had lost its meaning in India but now you see the nano revolution everywhere. Just one honest civil servant K J Rao gave Bihar its fairest assembly election of last 20 years. It was the power of a single honest person which stood against all the corruption and crime and gave people what they actually have as fundamental right i.e. the right to vote freely on their will. That power unseated one of the most corrupt Indian politician Lalu Yadav and ended his jungle raj in Bihar.

A single honest powerful person can do miracles just the way you see it in Ratan Tata, KJ Rao, Dr Venugopal, Narendra Modi and Swami Vivekananda. A honest person has got nothing to fear. They know they have power of truth behind them. They know they have got nothing to lose. How long you can keep sun from rising with your dark sheets? A temporary night of darkness may keep sun away from reaching to people but in the end when it shines with all its brilliance then darkness will have no place anywhere. India has produced a mind like Nachiket who went to the door of the God of Death “Yama” for solution of his doubts. When Yama saw sincerity in Nachiket’s questions, he told him the secrets of death. You can read it in the form of “Prashnopanishad”. This is what our culture is all about. This culture creates a free and honest mind which can question even all powerful death.

I salute Dr VenuGopal because he stood for the truth, he stood up for the fight against corrupt means which just wants to serve its narrow interest in form of Ramdas. For centuries we have know that its “Satyamev Jayate (it’s the Truth alone which wins)” and incidents like this reinforces my belief in that. I have done my mistakes in past. I am not a saint but incidents like this help me in becoming a better human being. The free, honest and fearless minds are all we need for taking India to its rightful place on face of earth. This is the time again for the birth of Nachiket in every home. Lets give that education to ours and future generations. Lets try to stand up for the cause of nation building. Lets come together and say enough is enough and now its time for resurgent India. Lets do our jobs properly and contribute to the greater cause of nation building. Lets try to be on the side of oppressed and give the voice to those who doesn’t have any means. Lets not violate the rules of traffic and try to get away by paying bribes. Lets stop corruption by not paying any bribe for vehicle license and passports. Lets start a nano revolution from our homes and make is so big that all wicked and selfish people fear to even come out.

This darkness of past many years has taken us to unimaginable filths where India got compared to everything worst in the world. Believe and know that you the inheritors of the legacy of Nachiket and Vivekanand. Come together oh Bhartiya for the cause of nation building. Let us stop feeding the useless animals like Ramdas. Let us celebrate this day for the victory of truth like we do in Dashahara. Lets say with pride again that I am an Indian. I am an Indian… Join the celebration with me in celebrating this new resurgent India.. May God direct our intellect in right direction.

ManMohan Singh (MMS) Lost His Only Quality Which I Liked About Him i.e. Honesty

Poor MMS what have you done,
You made fool of everyone.

I borrowed these lines from famous 60s song by The Beetles. I knew that MMS is weakest prime minister in history of independent India but I still thought that this poor fellow is honest among all the dirt and corrupts who surrounds him. But TR Balu episode opened my eyes about him. Here even Sonia Maino is not involved like in the case of Quattrochi. In Quattrochi case I have given him the benefit of doubt because he is the poor fellow who is guarding the PM chair for the crowned prince. He is just carrying out orders of Sonia Maino and those who know me know that Sonia Maino is not in my good books for various reasons which I already discussed in various other blogs.

Poor MMS episode has shifted the power of prime minister’s office to some Italian Mafia’s home. All ministers in his cabinet openly say that Rahul baba should be the prime minister. MMS is taking care of property of Rahul Baba like some bonded labor working on rich land lords land in his absence. Its like infamous Lalu Rabadi episode where Lalu made his 4th standard pass wife the chief minister of Bihar in his absence. In this case our MMS is some PhD from Oxford University, so you can expect some difference between him and Rabadi Devi.

With this TR Balu episode the corruption and nepotism is been granted sanction from highest authority of power in India. I can safely guess that in majority of the cases that has been going on through years but not so openly. Even if some minister was getting caught for doing corrupt practices, he was immediately removed to save the face in front of the public. This is for the first time that even after having so many open proofs against a minister and by his own admission, the prime minister is taking his side and saying he hasn’t done anything wrong. Well MMS I would like to ask you what you consider bad enough to be classified as wrong.

On the basis of similar theory as our recently corrupt MMS is propounding now we can say that if a father, who is working in government service takes bribe in the name of his son’s or daughter’s well being is also not doing any wrong. A traffic police man who is not doing his job by enforcing law and letting off the violators by having some bribe in name of his children is also not wrong. A judge who after taking bribe in name of his children for some wrong judgment delivers verdict in favor of the offender and criminal is also not wrong. A public servant after taking bribe in name of his children for giving contract of construction of a bridge to some corrupt contractor is also not wrong. This list can go on and on. So if everybody with kids can do some corruption by this new MMS rule then only people without kids cant do corruption but if they have some people to take care of like their parents they should be allowed to do some corruption. I would like to appeal MMS to amend his newly created rule for people who have dependants. So it will leave us with children under age of 16 who cant do any corruption but everyone else is allowed to do it.

I know he is not the highest authority but still the Prime Minister’s office is considered as that. The highest authority of power that is our Super PM, Italian lady has already shown that she can do anything to save Quattrochi from Indian Law authorities. So I don’t want to talk about her. But MMS was seen by many educated Indians as the one who is just weak but not corrupt. He has proven everybody wrong by sending 8 letters to petroleum ministry for asking favors for companies run by TR Balu’s son. Is this kind of India we all want? Is this kind of India all great patriots have given their life? That’s why I came to the conclusion that Congress party is root of all evils in India, it’s the cradle of corruption in India. This party feed corruption and sycophancy from its highest authority. Wake up Indians, wake up before its too late for doing right things. See the real face of this congress led govt which is a failure on all fronts.

They are some bunch of corrupts who don’t think about common good of masses. They cant think for common masses because they themselves are not common. They all belong to some wealthy families and havent known what the hungry stomach feels like. They don’t know when you don’t get the clean drinking water because they are drinking packaged Bisleri water. They don’t know when common Indians on street don’t have anything to cover him up in cold nights because they have turned on their heaters. They live on us honest taxpayers money like parasites and favor their families over everything. This congress culture of sycophancy is not allowing honest people to join politics in India as they feel its of no use to dirty your hands. You have to be a criminal or a history sheeted person to join the politics in India. Indian voters havent been given right choices. If persons who win elections because of their qualities and not some caste and religion joined the assemblies and parliament of India, we all would have been living in a heaven.

Sadly this is not the case that’s why we Indians have to be pivot of that change where this type of corruption from its highest authority shouldn’t be tolerated. Wake up, wake up before its too late.. May God direct our intellect in right direction.
